Use
It is recommended to be replaced every 3 months or when the fibers are worn. A biodegradable toothbrush is buried in the soil and composted, after first removing its hairy part. Even if it is not discarded in compost and ends up in a landfill, in about 1 year it will have been biodegradated.

It takes about 1,000 years for a plastic toothbrush to disintegrate!
